In a city that’s known for its urban renewal projects, you might expect to see more buildings in the area than you might see in a typical suburb.
And yet, for some reason, Los Angeles has never seen a lot of new commercial buildings.
A look at the commercial buildings that have popped up in L.A. Since 1950, the city has added nearly 10,000 commercial buildings in what’s known as the “modern downtown” boom.
One of those buildings was Lulu, a massive apartment building in the heart of downtown that opened in the 1980s.
Today, it’s home to an impressive array of businesses, from the iconic Lulu nightclub to the now-defunct Hollywood Hotel.
The city’s downtown also has an abundance of new residential developments, but none that can match Lulu’s grandeur.
There are a few reasons for that.
First, Lulu was built on the site of a former hotel that was demolished in the 1970s, and the area around it is not particularly walkable, which means a lot more people can use the space than would otherwise be the case.
Second, Lulus main tenant was a clothing store, which became the first major tenant in the building, but there was no commercial use until Lulu opened.
Third, and perhaps most importantly, Lulus owner Joe Lulu died in 2014, leaving the building as a vacant shell.
Today, the site is a popular spot for events and events that draw large crowds.
There’s a new movie theater, an art museum, and a new library, among others.
And in a city where you might not be able to find the perfect spot for a concert, you can always find a spot for Lulu.
The Lulu building has been home to a number of businesses in the past, including Lulu Fashion, Lula Fashion, and Lulu Bar.
And Lulu also served as the home to Lulu House, a luxury apartment building that went up in 2015.
In its new home, the Lulu development is a large, contemporary building with a unique and beautiful interior, with some really great design elements, like a central courtyard that features an open plan garden, and an underground garage.
The exterior of the building features an outdoor deck that’s filled with sun, and it’s one of the best outdoor spaces in the city, according to the Los Angeles Times.
For a while, the hotel was in disrepair, and had been converted to apartments.
In the early 2000s, the Los Angles Downtown Development Authority acquired the building and started renovating it.
In a move that drew praise from local and national media, the developer and developer partners announced in 2016 that they had completed the renovations to the building.
Lulu was one of a number residential buildings that were renovated for use in the development, including the former Lulu Tavern, which was renovated into the iconic Hollywood Hotel, and, most recently, the Hollywood Park Apartments, which is home to the Lulu nightclub and Lula Hotel.
The Lulas current location, the old Lulu Building, is still home to many businesses, including a music venue and a bar.
