The Morana Group, a Canadian construction and engineering company, has just completed the world’s largest building, the world-tallest tower in Morocco.
The Moranas 1,776-foot-tall building is situated in the town of Morgana, on the Moroccan coast.
Morana is a leading global provider of commercial real estate and residential real estate development.
The tower is the largest single development in Morocco’s history, and the largest in the world to date, with an estimated capacity of 2.2 million square feet.
The building was built using state-of-the-art technology and is a first of its kind in the region, with no asbestos in its construction, according to Moranas website.
The company’s building was the first of five new developments in Morocco, the Moroccan interior minister said.
The other five were completed between March and October.
The Moroccan government said that construction on the new towers was completed and the site is under construction.
Construction will be completed by December 2019, according the Moroccan Interior Ministry.
The Moroccans government said it will invest millions of dollars in the project.
The Moranas new towers are expected to contribute to the Moroccan economy.
The company said it has signed contracts with local government and non-governmental organizations to develop the project, and that it will start work in 2021.
