The car, which will be unveiled by Dubai’s first-ever Formula 1 racing champion, Sebastian Vettel, will be powered by a new 3.0-litre V6 engine and features a turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine.
The new Z-series is powered by the same V6 that powers Ferrari’s 458 Italia and McLaren’s McLaren F1.
Dubline’s Z-car is expected to be unveiled during the opening ceremony of the new Formula 1 Grand Prix at the start of next year.
Dubbed the “Sophie’s car” for its ‘tough love’ philosophy, the car has been designed to last up to 20,000 kilometres and be capable of hitting 60mph in 5.8 seconds.
The Z-cars body was made from a carbon fiber composite, and its engine was also made from carbon fibre.
Dubs Z- car will be based on the Z-4, which was created by an Irish designer and will be revealed at Saturday’s opening ceremony.
Dubliners new super car, dubbed ‘Sophies’ will be shown off during the grand prix at the end of January.
Dub’s new ‘Somos’ is expected by the end in 2019.
Dub and Singapore have long been rivals and Singapore’s government is planning to invest $6 billion in the South-East Asian country to expand the country’s port facilities.
Dub will also be making a big push in its South-east Asian markets with plans to develop a new airport in Singapore.
