The latest installment of Nami is now available on Bandcamp and Spotify, along with the album’s tracklist, artwork, and video.
The album was initially scheduled for release on August 19, but it’s now available today.
Nami and her boyfriend, singer Joonbuk, are currently working on a new album together.
Naming the new album after the first of the three Nami-related titles, “Nami,” it’s a more intimate take on her early life and the music she makes.
“I was inspired by my father and my grandmother, both of whom died in childbirth,” she told Billboard.
“So I was thinking of how they both grew up, and the idea of how that’s what I want to do with my music.
It’s not just about me.
It was inspired from their experience.”
“Nomi” will be Nami 2.0, and it will feature a slew of new tracks and a new video.
“We’ve got a bunch of new stuff that we’re gonna put out, and we’re also gonna be putting out a new music video,” she said.
“It’s a new direction, but we’re still very close to doing it, because we’re always gonna keep coming back to what we think is cool about it.”
